About Us

After adopting Layla, my goal was to spoil her like crazy! I knew her time on earth would be short and I wanted to provide her with a healthy diet with healthy dog treats. I would purchase store-bought treats without really thinking about the ingredients. I couldn't pronounce 90% of them! This really had me thinking that I needed to do my own research and find healthy ingredients.

I began cooking homemade dog food  and baking healthy dog treats with ingredients that are safe & beneficial for dogs. It was so much fun sitting by the oven with Layla just waiting for the treats to be ready. My favorite part of it all was when she left not a crumb in sight. That's when Layla's Barkery was born. Her birthday cakes were baked fresh and she never had an upset tummy after finishing the whole thing!

In December 2021, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives and put our motivation & mascot to rest due to an unbeatable cancer. She is deeply missed, but her legacy needs to continue! We adopted her brother Bheem in May 2020 during Covid and he has done an amazing job following in Layla's footsteps. He is the best Quality Control Manager and makes sure each batch of treats is pawfect for your pup!

Our goal is to spread the joy Layla had every time she ate my homemade home made dog treats and dog cakes. The best thing about Layla's Barkery is that we are passionate about what we do and what goes into making our treats fresh & healthy for your fur-babies. 

Even better, our cakes and treats can be personalized with your pup's name and customized for allergies/color preferences. 

Our kitchen and small business is licensed to operate, too!!
